Got a message about this blog on my lj and thought why not submit it here! I got this about 4 years ago now (it does not feel like that long!), it’s a piece I’m really proud of. My artist got it spot on.
It’s been one of my favourite images for a long time. I adore Gerard’s artwork a huge amount, he’s one of the people who has inspired me and given me drive in my own art work so getting a piece of his was kind of a big deal to me. I was lucky enough to be able to show him this while in LA last year and gush about my love of his artwork like a total dork.
Not a great picture of my other MCR related piece, but I also have “Awake and unafraid, asleep or dead” around my wrist.
My Chemical Romance means more to me than any words can express. But if you’re looking at this blog, I don’t need to express it. You probably already know. This was done by Kyle Seal at Brainstorm Tattoo in Fayetteville, AR. The first of several MCR tattoos that will grace my body.
This is my KillJoy blaster :D It’s Party Poison’s. I got it because I relate and look up to Gerard Way in almost every aspect. Also, My Chemical Romance has been my favorite band since I was in 8th grade. This is my second My Chem related tattoo and I love it! Still got about two hours left on it for coloring.
